Character Modeling


Head: I started modelling my character head with a box and gradually brought it up to shape.














Body: I started with basic blocking of character’s body part. I have basically used box modeling method. I used the Extrude tool to modify the box, then by using insert edge loop tool started to roughly block out the shape of the body & also used split polygon tool to detail body parts. After i got the basic T pose shape. Then I checked final character body detailed by giving Mesh smooth.

 















 
Accessories: I started blocking the accessories. First start with hand strip and then I used Duplicate Face tool from Edit bar.
























Pants: I used a simple box then gradually brought it up to shape.
























Hair: I used EP curve for modeling of hairstyle. I have shown below how i used Extrude tool with EP curve for modeling hairs. I did two different hairstyles for two different characters.
